If you have to access a web site outside a firewall, or if you prefer to browse the Internet incognito, then we have the solution for you. It’s available in our Site Control Panel. With our VPN access option, you will be able to browse the World Wide Web safely with your desktop PC, laptop or telephone wherever you are.

In the WebDog Web Hosting Site Control Panel we have integrated the ModSecurity Apache module. It is a small module that does a big job – it acts as a firewall for your web apps, guarding them against hack attacks, XSS attacks and URL forgery attacks. We’ve already specified the rules for the firewall software, so you do not need to configure it before it starts to work.

And ModSecurity is enabled by default for all your web sites – as soon as they go online, they will be instantaneously protected. If you want, you can manually deactivate ModSecurity for any of your websites.

At any time, you will be able to learn precisely how many people have visited your website lately and how much time they have spent on it. Moreover, you’ll be granted access to up–to–the–minute stats about the most–visited pages, the pages on which your visitors land when opening your site, the pages from which they exit your site and much more.

With the Web Applications Installer located in the Site Control Panel, you can quickly install over 40 different software apps, including Joomla^™, Mambo, WordPress and others. No more searching for the latest release of a certain app. Also, you will no longer have to upload, install and set up everything manually. We’ll carry out all configuration operations and will also automatically set up a database for your web application.

Moreover, our Web Applications Installer maintains a log of all the software applications that you have installed, including the username, the password and the login page. That way, you can still sign in, even if you forget your password.
